FK Beograd, originally known as White City, is a semi-professional soccer club based in Woodville, Adelaide, South Australia. Established in 1949 by the Serbian Australian community, the club has a rich history in the South Australian National Premier League. FK Beograd, which was once coached by former Australian international Milan Ivanović, is currently led by head coach Adrian D'Aloia, alongside assistants Lee Addison and John Falidis. The club was formed at a meeting in North Terrace, Adelaide, and quickly made its mark, winning its first league game in 1950. Over the years, the club, initially playing in blue, white, and red, shifted to the Serbian national colours and underwent significant changes, including moving to its current ground at Frank Mitchell Park in 1956 and installing floodlights in 1979. Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2006, the club has seen notable achievements like winning the State League First Division Championship in 1979. Renamed to White City Woodville in 1992 and then to FK Beograd in 2022, the club continues to be a prominent figure in South Australian soccer.
At the heart of Go Sunny's mission lies a vision articulated by our CEO, Dj Nikolic, who once said, "All we ever wanted was to be the solar guy for our family and friends. The trusted local guru, who has all the trade secrets, the inside line, and the keys to the kingdom." This humble aspiration has been the driving force behind our evolution. Initially aiming to be a reliable source of solar knowledge and services for our immediate circle, we soon realized the potential to broaden our impact. Go Sunny's growth has been strategically steered to extend our reach, taking care of more people, and making a significant impact on South Australian households. Our journey from a local trusted advisor to a leading electrification solutions provider reflects our commitment to education, affordability, and accessibility in the face of a challenging energy future. With escalating power costs and a volatile environment, our approach, inspired by Dj Nikolic's vision, is more relevant than ever, positioning us as not just a provider, but a pillar of support and a beacon of innovation in our community.
We are thrilled to announce a dynamic partnership between Go Sunny Solar and Football SA, reflecting our shared commitment to nurturing community spirit and fostering sustainable growth. At Go Sunny Solar, our passion extends beyond providing renewable energy solutions; we are deeply invested in supporting the Football SA community, recognizing the vital role it plays in bringing people together. This partnership is more than a business alliance; it's a pledge to give back to the local clubs within the Football SA organization, ensuring they thrive not just as sporting hubs but also as beacons of community unity and environmental leadership. Our joint efforts showcase a forward-thinking approach where environmental responsibility and community support go hand in hand, creating a brighter, greener future for all involved.
