Seaford Rangers, formerly known as Seaford Surfers and Noarlunga City, is a soccer club based in Seaford, South Australia, competing in the South Australian State League. The club, originally founded in 1970 as Port Noarlunga-Christies Beach, plays its home games at Karingal Reserve and is known for its passionate support group, The Norseman St Elite. Throughout its history, Seaford Rangers has undergone several name changes and mergers, including a significant one in 1983 with Seaford Sports & Social Club, leading to its current identity. In 2007, the club adopted the name Seaford Rangers, moving away from its previous nickname, The Surfers. Notable for its intense rivalry with Noarlunga United, the club has seen memorable derby matches. The year 2009 marked a successful period under the management of former player Ben Dale, with Dayle Anderson and Faustin Machochi achieving individual accolades in scoring and performance. Seaford Rangers' history is decorated with notable achievements including being the 2nd Division runners-up in 1993.
