Adelaide United Football Club Youth, the youth system of Adelaide United Football Club based in Adelaide, South Australia, competes in the National Premier Leagues and the under-21s A-League Youth competition. Founded in 2008 for the inaugural National Youth League, the team quickly showed promise under former Adelaide City player and coach Joe Mullen, finishing as runners-up in their first season. The team's early years were highlighted by Francesco Monterosso's back-to-back Golden Boot wins and consistent finishes in the top three of the league. In 2014, they entered the National Premier Leagues South Australia, earning immediate promotion and later competing internationally, including a memorable performance at the 2015 Mediterranean International Cup in Barcelona. Despite fluctuating league positions in subsequent years, Adelaide United Youth has maintained a competitive presence, even qualifying for the NPL SA Finals Series.
